God is a Sun and a Shield

Psalm 84 verse 11

¹¹ For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

What does the Bible mean when he likens God to a Sun and a Shield?

1. The Sun stands for glory, grace, brightness, healing, favour, and light.
2. A Shield is a weapon of protection, deliverance, and preservation.
3. God as a Sun means God will cause your glory to blossom.
4. God as a Shield means God will divinely protect you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
