Avoiding sin is sacrificial
Romans 12 vs 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

- Unless you are willing to forsake the gains of the pleasures of sin, you cannot benefit from the gains of salvation.
- That is why the Bible asked us to present ourselves as a living sacrifice.
- This means sometimes, avoiding sin may cost you financial loss, pain, or some benefits.
- It also means that you must make this sacrifice every day, as long as you are breathing.
- You can’t live in holiness and sacrifice if you can’t sacrifice the pleasures of sin.
