In this chapter, King Solomon asked some questions about life, and he was not able to provide answers.
The vanity of life
- He lamented that the portion of man is to work from birth to death.
- He also said God has hidden from man the secret of creation.
- He concluded by saying, the best thing for everyman is to enjoy the fruit of their labour, because everyman will die and leave the fruit of their labour to others – vs. 13
