Ecclesiastes 3:1: How to manage time wisely

In this chapter, King Solomon talks about the different vanities he had indulged in.

1. He built several houses – vs. 4, I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:
2. He planted several vineyards.
3. He constructed several swimming pools – vs. 6, I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees:

1. He had several servants.
2. He had many cattle.
3. He gathered much silver and gold.
4. He possessed anything that his eyes desired.
5. At the end of the day, Solomon said he was not satisfied, and everything he had was vain.
6. The message Solomon is passing is self-control, as a man can never be satisfied with material acquisition.
