Genesis 31 vs. 19 –And Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that were her father’s.

God hates idolatry

1. When Rachel had a reproach of barrenness, she cried to God and God herkened to her prayers.
2. Afterwards, she forgot God and went back to idolatry.
3. In this passage, she committed two sins – she stole materials that were not hers. Also stole idolatrous materials.
