God hates idolatry

God hates idolatry with perfect hatred.
King Ahaziah of Israel became sickened; rather than seeing healing from God, he consulted Baalzebub, the god of Ekron.
God sent Elijah to him to prophesy that Ahaziah would not recover from the sickness but surely die for this evil consultation.
Are you sick in your body, and you are being advised to consult a witch doctor? Beware so as not to suffer the fate of King Ahaziah.
