Nehemiah 4
Weapons of warfare-blow a trumpet to God
- You can use different musical instruments to provoke the presence of God.
- God likes to hear the sounds of different musical instruments.
- Nehemiah knew this principle, and he applied it successfully to overcome Satanic opposition against a divine assignment.
- When Nehemiah mobilised the people of Israel to reconstruct the broken walls of Jerusalem, Sanballat and Tobiah, who were the leaders of the Israelites in captivity, opposed the move. One of the weapons Nehemiah used to overcome this satanic opposition was blowing a trumpet unto God – Nehemiah 4:18, For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.
Weapons of warfare-blow a trumpet to God

- The Bible says that Nehemiah commanded some of the workers to blow trumpets, and after the sound, all the workers shouted, ‘Our God shall fight for us’
- Do you need anything from God? Do you want God to heal you, deliver you, or save you? All you need to do is to blow a trumpet and shout that my God will deliver, my God will heal me, my God will promote me, or my God will save me.
- There is a gospel artist in Nigeria who uses this principle very well. During his seasonal programme called ‘Hallelujah Challenge’, what he does is to blow a trumpet, after which he would ask his listeners and viewers to start dancing before the Lord and place their prayer requests before the Lord.
- To live an overcome life, to attract the presence of God for great deliverances, purchase a trumpet today and blow it from time to time to the glory of God.
