| CRUCIAL LAWS |

Memorise: “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation” (1 Peter 1:15). Read: 1 Peter 1:15-16 |
| For God to embrace you, there are three major laws that must be satisfied. The first one is the law of holiness. Amos 3:3 says, “Can two walk together except they be agreed?” Can two people at two polar ends, with nothing in common embrace? When a couple is fighting, do they embrace each other at such a time? 1 Peter 1:15-16 says you should be holy because your Father is holy. God is the God of everybody, the Father of many but the Daddy of a few. Like it is said, “It is the child that lifts up his hands that can be embraced,” For those hands to be drawn towards God, they must be clean and totally void of cheating, lies and manipulation of records. I travelled abroad for two weeks and on return met a very hot weather. I asked my children who came to pick me at the airport if it had not rained and they replied in the affirmative. So I asked if they did not pray for rain. They said, they did so I assured them it will rain. An hour later the rain began. Surprised, one of my daughters met me and said, “We prayed for rain for two weeks without an answer. But immediately you returned and said it will rain, the rain started.” She concluded I must be privy to some information they are not and requested I told them. I simply told them they disobeyed hence their prayer was not answered. If you live daily for Him, He will not allow any word you pronounce to fall to the ground. From today, you will decree and it shall be established. Another law you must satisfy for God to embrace you is the law of love. Proverbs 8:17 says, “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.” This means love is not a one way traffic. It entails reciprocity. If you want God to love, hug and constantly embrace you, you must love Him. Love has different shades and sizes. There is general and specific love. There is the love you have for your wife, and for your beautiful car. Yet, no matter how much you love your car, you cannot take it to the bedroom. God loves everybody hence He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. But when He was going to the Mount of Transfiguration, He took only three people out of groups of 12, 70, 120, and 500 believers. |
