| CAUSELESS CURSE |
|
Memorise: “As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come” (Proverbs 26:2). Read: Proverbs 26:1-2 |
“For that ye ought to say, if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that” (James 4:15). God has a plan for all His children. God has a plan for your life. If you are in doubt, find out from Him. He does not want us to stray from His beautiful plan in any aspect. Unfortunately, some leaders have manipulated God’s people out of God’s will. For instance, in birthing parishes, some pastors will only release workers and ministers who they find difficult to control or who are not financially buoyant. They will do anything just to retain the prospering brethren around themselves contrary to God’s express instructions. That is abuse of pastoral privilege. It is charismatic witchcraft. Remember, God has a plan for His kingdom on earth. If you go against His specific plan for an assignment, you will be held responsible for obstructing the divine plan.
Our reading says the causeless curse shall not come. It does not matter the level of the anointing, the position or office occupied by the person issuing the curse. Let that pastor tag himself the direct representative of God; let him quote all the scriptures and pray all prayers before pronouncing the curse. If you have not done something deserving a curse, it will not alight upon you. That curse will not stand. But if you did deserve a curse by some evil deeds, even without pronouncing it, the curse will pronounce itself. A man once came to say his pastor had placed a curse on him. On further investigation, we discovered the pastor was the one who deserved to be cursed. He pronounced the curse because he felt challenged when the brother tried to tell him that he was erring from God’s ways. As long as you are in right standing with God and faithfully serving Him, anyone who pronounces a curse on you is simply cursing himself. Any causeless curse placed on you shall come to nothing. Any curse placed on you as a result of malice, envy, or wickedness shall return to sender. No curse shall alight upon your head from today. |

Intercede for at least five people who are burdened down with curses. Command every curse placed on you to return to sender. |
