| HOW VALUABLE? |

Memorise: ”And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading” (Luke 19:15). Read: Luke 19:12-27 |
| In the parable of the talents stated in Matthew 25:14-30, when the nobleman was about to go, he gave out eight talents but on his return he was given fifteen. The one who was given five ended up with eleven. The one with two eventually had four. But the one who refused to invest his received nothing, and even lost the only one he had. He was rebuked and called a ‘wicked and slothful servant’ and was eventually thrown into hell. “And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called into him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading” (Luke 19:15). Every child of God has been given some talent with which to impact the world. Our God is a wise investor. He wants to know how much increase you can generate through the talents He had deposited in you. Do you know that every message you hear in church or through audio-visual means is not for nothing? God expects some level of spiritual increase and compliance. Any sermon you heard but failed to run with, will stand against you on the day of reckoning.
Has the Lord blessed you financially, but rather than seeing your wealth as a means to an end, you have made it an end in itself? What is important is not the wealth or millions stacked in your local or foreign accounts, but the value it is able to generate in the lives of people and in the Kingdom of God. Any wealth you have that cannot be turned into a benefit for God’s glory and Kingdom is a curse, not a blessing. Why? It could sentence you to hell. Any talent or blessing you have refused to utilise for the increase of the Kingdom turns you into a slothful and wicked servant whose end is hell. Transforming paper money into clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, settling hospital bills for the sick, is value. Translating money from paper into resources and equipment for crusades, sponsorship of missionaries and leading to the salvation of souls, is value. What value is your life, education and resources adding to the world and God’s Kingdom? Your resources and your life will be worthless if they cannot produce the real thing- value. |

Using 2 Corinthians 9:8, ask God to release the grace to make you sufficient in all things. |
