1. What does the Bible say about taking alcoholic drinks?
2. What we know is that in the Old Testament, God advised Nazirites (a people separated and consecrated to God) to avoid wine, strong drink, and fermented drinks (described as moist grapes) whenever they decided to separate themselves to God.
3. The purpose or essence of this is that you can’t be drinking and fasting at the same time.
4. Wine glorifies the body, fasting glorifies the spirit.
5. After the period of separation, the Nazarite may drink wine.
6. While the Bible does not forbid taking drinks, it implies that it may compromise holiness
