Qualities of a Christian leader
Exodus 18 vs. 21 – Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
- Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, gave him the qualities of leather.
- When he saw that only Moses was judging the people, he advised that he appoint others who could assist him in discharging his duties.
- As a Christian, you must have good virtues.
- Jethro asked Moses to appoint able people. Your ability needs to portray you as a good Christian.
- Every spirit against diligence in your workplace is cast out in Jesus’ name.
- You shall be an able man and woman.
- No faults were found in your work. You shall be a perfect person in Jesus’ name.
- The second quality is the fear of God. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
- When you fear God, you will obey His commandment.
- The laws of God shall be your companion in Jesus’ name.
- Receive the spirit to fear God in Jesus’ name. You shall not join the multitude to do evil in Jesus’ name.
- The third quality is men of truth. You must be a man of truth.
- Liars are the children of the devil. You shall not bury yourself in lies in Jesus’ name.
- The fourth quality is hating covetousness. Covetousness is greed.
- Ill-got fortunes are of no value, but righteousness delivers from death.
- Almost everyone in the world is making money just anyhow.
- You shall be a man of integrity in Jesus’ name.
- You shall not be greedy for gain in Jesus’ name.
- Jethro said that people with all these qualities qualify to be good leaders.
- As you cultivate these attributes, heaven shall promote you over thousands and millions in Jesus’ name. Amen
