God is faithful to His promises

1. God promised the children of Israel that he would deliver them from the land of bondage (Egypt) and give them as an inheritance the land of Canaan.
2. This eventually came to pass, as the land was shared among all 12 tribes, each marked with its of borders.
3. The land of Canaan was systematically shared among 9 and ½ tribes of Israel.
4. The remaining two and a half tribes, Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, inherited the land on the east side of the Jordan, near Jericho, which was favourable for livestock and trade (vs. 14).
5. Whatever God promises will always come to pass, though it tarries, but without prejudice, despite man’s disobedience and unfaithfulness.
