He was a young happy man with a bright future. His plan consisted of how would get married, have a super dynamic family structure and enjoy life to the fullest. He often fantasized about sailing round the world as part of recreational fulfillment. He would always envision himself as a potential millionaire making an endless investment in the stock market. Part of his plan centered on how he would stage endless daily parties for his friends and family. He extended his plan to be inclusive of how he would build mansions in Bahamas and go on vacation every other month. He planned on how he would obtain the highest academic climax. He planned on how he would have a special doctor to visit him and his family for monthly medical check up. His plans were endless. He was indeed full of hope and aspiration.
However, something was missing in this young man’s plans and aspirations. He never included the plan to obtain and maintain a divine relationship with the Almighty God. He left God out of his plans for the future. He forgot the words of Jesus Christ, “without me you can do nothing.” He thought he owns his life. He forgot that we are not the creator of ourselves. How tragic to say that many people are like this young man, who make endless plans for the future living out the one that will sustain and give them the strength to bring their plans to reality, the Almighty God.
Unfortunately, the young man couldn’t achieve any of his plans. He slept one night and never woke up again. He was gone! He died and that was the end of his dreams and aspirations.
Dear Friend, you need God in you your life. You need him to see you through the trouble and hardship in this world. You need him to show you the way out of the grotesque darkness. The Lord Jesus knows the way out of the wilderness. You’ve tried everything, but Jesus. Why not give him a chance today and let him see you through your plans and dreams. He will take care of you. He will not leave you alone. He will be there for you, no matter what. First of all, you need to give him your heart. Invite him into your heart, and his peace that passes all understanding will be yours. Remember, all your plans are God’s concern. He loves you and cares very much for you.
