David was a good planner

1 Chronicles 22:14 – Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the Lord an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.

1. Another quality of David was not only being a warrior, but also a good planner. Even for things he was not going to achieve during his lifetime, he planned.
2. David wanted to build a temple for Him, but God told Him that his hands were stained with blood from war, but his son would build the temple for God.
3. What David did was to plan. He ordered building materials and labourers even before his death. 1 Chronicles 22:5 said David prepared abundantly for the construction of the temple before his death.
4. David also kept in stock thousands of gold, brass, timber, and iron to build the temple. I Chronicles 22:14.
