Genesis 12 vs 17

And the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram’s wife.

1. A plague is an affliction that can be a disease or tragedy.
2. When Pharaoh took over Abraham’s wife, the Bible says God plague the house of Pharaoh.
3. We will remember that God has made a covenant with Abraham to bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him.
4. So, if you are a child of God and somebody cheats on you, keep calm; God will fight for you.
5. The Bible says God issued a great plague against Pharaoh.
6. So, the word ‘great plague’ means very serious or terrible affliction.
7. The plagues were not only for Pharaoh but also for the members of his household.
8. If you are passing through some afflictions, check if you have sinned.
9. If you take over another man’s wife, a plague awaits you.
10. Also, you need to pray for your parent because if they commit any iniquity, the plague will come on them and every family member.
