Evil shall slay the wicked

Read 2 Samuel 18

1. The end of every treachery, betrayal, conspiracy, and wickedness is always evil.
2. All the people who conspired against David – Saul, Abner, Ishbosheth, Absalom- all ended their lives tragically.
3. Absalom, David’s son, rebelled against his father, pursued him from the throne and slept with his concubines.
4. At the end, Absalom died in disgrace with his head caught in an oak tree and his body hanging in the air – vs 9, And Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that was under him went away.
