| DREAM AND ITS USES |
|
Memorise: “And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass” (Genesis 41:32). Read: Genesis 20:1-11 |
| “He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm” (Psalms 105:14-15). God reproved kings through dreams. In our reading today, God went to King Abimelech and told him he was a dead man except he restored Sarah to Abraham. You too can ask the Lord to rebuke those who are trying to rob you of your entitlements or those deliberately hindering your progress, in their dreams. Has someone denied you what is yours? This season the Lord will rebuke them in their dreams until they restore what they have taken. There is someone using this Devotional. Somebody denied you certain benefits for five years. Tonight the Lord will rebuke him in the dream and he will restore your entitlements in seven days. When you receive your blessing, remember to give God praise and testify to God’s glory. Moreover from our reading, God can use a dream to warn you of an unintentional mistake as He did to King Abimelech. God also warned King Nebuchadnezzar of his pride as he attributed his achievements to himself (Daniel 4:1-33). The Lord can prevent you from erring through dreams. In Genesis 28:10-15, God used this medium to assure Jacob of His presence with him and what He intends to do with him. In 1 Kings 3:5-15, God used a dream to ask and grant Solomon what he wanted. God can encourage you through dreams and warn you of impending dangers. “And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass” (Genesis 41:32). God doubled the dream He gave to Pharaoh. According to verse 32, when you have two identical dreams one coming shortly after the other; it means that dream will shortly be accomplished. In several dreams, we may see quite a number of things that appear impossible but they will be made possible by God. Joseph’s dream appeared impossible but because His God is the God of impossibilities, He brought it to pass. Every good dream God has given to you, particularly the dream of your destiny shall come to pass in Jesus’ name. The operation of dreams in your life will be to your credit in Jesus’ name. Ask God to sharpen your dreaming skill. |
