² For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

1. The terrible God subdues his enemies – verse 3
2. The terrible God subdues nation – verses 3
3. The terrible God causes Israel to inherit a land they did not laboured for – verse 4
4. The terrible God executes judgement – verse 8
5. The terrible God shields His children – verse 9
6. The terrible God delivers and gives His children voice of triumphant – verse 1
7. The terrible God inhabits praises – verse 6
8. The terrible God is terrible to His enemies.
