The Purpose of trials

Job 23 verse 10

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

1. The purpose of trials is to refine you.
2. In this verse, Job said he was tried so that he can come out as gold.
3. Gold is valuable, but unless gold is passed through a furnace of fire is value and its worth will not manifest.
4. Everyone God blesses in the Bible went through one trial or the other.
5. The trial you are passing through now may be necessary for your Christian growth.
6. If you trust in God during trials and you follow His rules, He will give you the power to overcome trials in Jesus’ name.
