Read Numbers 30

1. Marital vows are not a ritual.
2. Marital vows are not a band for the fun of it.
3. Marital vows said before the altar, in the presence of the Priest and the congregation, are binding. The Bible describes marital vows as bound – vs. 2 If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
4. Unless there are Biblical grounds for divorce, remember you have entered into a bond under which you cannot or should not walk away as you desire.
