Is Circumcision Biblical?

Read Leviticus 12

1. The Mosaic law stipulates a newly born child should be circumcised on the eighth day – 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
2. Circumcision is a sign of the covenant of God with the Israelites.
3. Any person who accepts Jesus as Lord and Saviour automatically enters a covenant with God.
4. Circumcision of the flesh has not been replaced by circumcision of the heart.
5. Physical circumcision has not succeeded in making anyone righteous. However, if you circumcise your heart with the fear of God, your ways will be right before God.
