Jesus, the atoning sacrifice for our sins

- Under the Mosaic laws, sin is atoned for by breaking the head of a dove, pigeon, kid, goat, or lamb, and sprinkling the blood on the altar.
- If Christianity is still practised in a similar way, then it is not different from other religions that make ritual sacrifices in the killing of human beings and animals during festivals.
- Jesus made the difference by being the sacrificial lamb once and for all.
- People of Israel atone for their sins by animal sacrifice. Jesus has paid it all for New Testament Christianity.’
- No form of rituals or animal sacrifice is needed again.
