THE CHARACTER OF GOD: God answers by fire

1 Kings 18 vs 24

And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

1. In the office, when your supervisor calls you, you are likely to answer ‘Yes sir/ma’ depending on your culture.
2. In marriage, when your husband/wife calls you, you are likely to answer ‘Yes dear or my love’.
3. In Nigeria, when your lover calls you, you are likely to answer ‘Yes, baby’.
4. But anytime you call upon God, fire will appear, which is a sign that God has answered you.
5. Next time you are praying, pray with the understanding that the fire of God is falling even though you can’t see it.
6. That fire sanctifies, delivers, heals, and saves.
7. As read in 2 King 1:10, the fire of God can also destroy the enemy of God.
