 “He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock” (Deut 32:13 ).The eagle is a super bird. It is known to take higher flights because it wants to remain different. You will not see an eagle flying low. If it ever comes low, it is to pick its prey and up it returns. In the airways, there are higher and lower routes.The eagle deliberately selects the higher route. In today’s reading, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is compared to an eagle. He rides on the higher places. Ephesians 1:20-21 says Christ is raised above all and made to seat far above all dominion, power or throne. Jesus is not a crawler: He is a Super Eagle. Anyone who is riding on eagle’s wings will automatically fly as high as the eagle.
Being a child of the Super Eagle, you become an eaglet yourself. You would suddenly take the traits of the Eagle. “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church” (Ephesians 1:22). Power emanates from above. Even in the secular hierarchy, the higher you rise in the organizational structure, the more powerful you become. The Lord Jesus Christ is positioned far higher than all satanic and human authorities hence, He is far more powerful than them. This is why all other powers are beneath His feet. This means, whenever He wants, He treads on the powers of darkness, and none of them can resist Him. Ephesians 2:6 says, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. Do you know that as Jesus was positioned in heavenly places so also were believers in Christ? In fact, Jesus Christ is our placement. Unfortunately, many believers become doubting Thomases when it comes to this, or simply refuse to act it out. Any believer who is constantly living in defeat is ignorant of who he is in Christ. If you are afraid of witches and wizards and the occult, you are operating far below your spiritual placement in Christ. You should put the enemies to flight and not run from them. You are above them! If you are truly flying, no enemy can catch up with you. |

Kindly please pray for me to memories scriptures and know them by heart. At the momentâ¦.i read my bible and Christian books every day but after an hour or so, I will not be able to recall what I read about or which scripture I read.
This makes me feel bad, like I am wasting my time or my body mind and soul does not want to accept or love the word of the Lordâ¦.Please help me
