Come For All Things Are Ready
Text: Luke 14:15-24
The creation story reveals God’s providence in His dealings with man. From the very beginning, provision was made for all that Adam would ever need.
And even when man fell into SIN, God immediately provided for his ultimate redemption well ahead of time. This same pattern is observable in God’s covenant with Israel which encompasses all areas of human needs – spiritual, physical, material, etc.
In the new covenant as well, we see Jesus as the author of eternal salvation for all who would trust in His atoning blood. During His earthly ministry, He gave an open invitation to all who were burdened with the load of SIN and worldly cares. And even now, the spirit of God is making entreaty with careless sinners to heed God’s offer of mercy.
Through a simple act of repentance, the gate is flung open to receive all of God’s provision for time and eternity – pardon, peace, holiness, power, prosperity, healing and deliverance from satanic attacks.
Sadly however, as out text reveals, many people preoccupied with business, social and family cares, with money – making, marriage and merriment, disregard God’s gracious invitation. These activities are seemingly legitimate, yet when pursued vigorously without adequate preparation for HEAVEN, they will lead to spiritual destitute and incalculable eternal loss.
God wants every sinner to respond positively to this invitation. As a sinner, if you spurn God’s love today, there would be no hiding place from His fiery judgment tomorrow. All forms of excuse – making will not avail for an escape from HELL.
All things are ready. Your redemption has been fully accomplished on the cross. In Jesus, you can have a hope that is sure, joy that is flowing, peace that is lasting and life in all its fullness. Repent today and believe the Gospel.
Blessed are your eyes for reading this message. Please don’t let this message die, read it again and pass it to others. We will meet in heaven, as you do them.
