Memorise: “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit” (Ps 51:12 ) Read: Luke 7:11-15 |
| When you encounter Jesus Christ, your lost freedom can be fully recovered. Some years ago, a man was brought to us. He had a peculiar problem – one I had never seen. He was under an uncommon demonic oppression.
Whenever he scratched his head, he would bring out a butterfly. If he put his hands into his ears, a cockroach would come out. His head became the abode of rodents and roaches. As a result, he could not freely mix with people for fear of being identified with this peculiar condition. His enemies thought they had finished his case but they left God out of the calculation. We prayed a simple prayer and he left. When we met two weeks afterwards, he had become an embodiment of a perfect gentleman; He looked radiant and completely at peace. Are you under an unusual satanic siege? That siege is broken now! You are set free by the Almighty God. Receive your freedom in full. God can also restore lost joy. Some people cannot recall the last time they tasted true joy. At a supermarket one day, my children and I discussed and cracked godly jokes. Then, one white woman remarked, “Your laughter makes me want to laugh”. When some people laugh, it is simply plastic: it does not go beyond the lips because of being empty of joy. When last did you have a healthy, hearty laugh? Whatever is not allowing you to laugh will be terminated today in Jesus’ Name! From this moment, you will encounter joy. You will move from one joyful event to another. The Almighty Restorer will restore your stolen joy because He wants your joy to be full. Besides, study the Bible regularly, and listen to only things that can build your faith.

| When last did you relish in the joy of salvation? Cry out like David for the restoration of that joy (Ps 51:12). |
