Memorise: “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matt 6:8) Read: Matthew 6:7-8 |
| “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (Genesis 2:18).
Another benefit of partnering with God is that it unveils the unspoken needs of the partner. Philippians 4:19 assures us of divine supplies of our needs. If you are truly in partnership with God, both spoken and unspoken needs would be identified and met. When believers ask God for certain things but their requests are not granted, the missing link could be absence of divine partnership. God did not pretend over the unspoken needs of Adam. Do you know that each of us have unspoken needs? Unfortunately, many of us are asking or desiring the wrong things. Our emphasis is on wants. Adam never asked for Eve yet God saw the need for Eve in his loneliness. There is something you need to have which has not even crossed your mind yet. There are certain potentials or abilities yet to find expression just like Eve was a rib in Adam’s side until she was brought out. When the unspoken needs of your life are met, you would derive deep and long lasting satisfaction. “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Cor 4:18). Another attribute of unspoken needs is that they impact on the destiny of their owners. It is my prayer that as you partner with God today, all your unspoken needs would be catered for in Jesus’ Name. Stop viewing situations from the same perspective. Change your view. True partnership with God has a way of uncovering your needs. The needs of some believers may not be discovered until they get into active partnership with God. You cannot be catering for Kingdom issues that touch God’s heart without Heaven dropping gold into yours. If God has to always wait for you to tell Him of your needs before He responds, it questions your level of partnership with Him. Adam never spoke out his need. He probably did not even realize it. But God did! How is your relationship with God? Can God call you His partner? |

God does not only identify the needs of His partners, but also does something about them. |
