1Thessalonians 5:20 says, ‘Despise not prophesyings”. Prophecy is a powerful medium of change available to all believers but sparingly used by them. Those who know its value never despise this tool. Those who hardly use it only refuse to do so because they are ignorant of its potentials. After Ezekiel was brought face to face with a valley of dry bones, he was asked to prophesy to them. “Again, he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD” (Ezek 37:4).Pure prophesy is declaring what God says to a given situation. That means to be effective in prophesying, you must have had a personal encounter with Jesus. Also, you must be full of God’s Word. Another thing is that as dry as bones may be, they have ears and respond to prophecy. Every situation or circumstance is capable of responding to prophecy. Never be deceived by the dryness surrounding bones. They may not have physical ears, but spiritually, they await directives from true prophecies. No matter how dry your situation may appear, it is awaiting orders from your prophetic tongue. If you however fail to give it direction, it may remain dry for a long time.As soon as Ezekiel prophesied, bones began to sort out themselves and join their respective parts to become skeletons. This tells us that your miracle will meet you when you prophesy effectively. In 1 Kings 17:8-16, a widow was preparing her last meal when her miracle walked in.Also, in John 5:1-9, a man who had been at the pool of Bethesda for 38 years was there as usual when the Lord walked through the multitude to meet his need. This season, your miracle will meet you where you are. After the skeleton stage, flesh covered the bones and skin covered the flesh. Every covering for your dry bones had been reserved all along. This means that God is a God of restoration. It does not matter what the enemy stole, God can restore it perfectly. The enemy might have stolen certain opportunities, benefits or blessings, yet as irrecoverable as they may seem to you, they are still within God’s reach (2 Kings 6:1-7).If you can please God, worship Him and prophesy using God’s Word, and what you consider lost forever will come back to you. Prophesy your way through recovery today. Every dry bone is listening to hear your prophetic declarations. |
