2 Chronicles 24

1. Prophet Zechariah was the son of Jehoiada.
2. The Bible records in 2 Chronicles 24:20 that the spirit of God fell upon him and he prophesied against the evil done by Joash, the king of Judah.
3. Specifically, he rebuked the people for forsaking the commandment of God, which has resulted in the nation not prospering.
4. He said that because of this disobedience, God has forsaken the people of Judah.
5. As a result, King Joash commanded that he should be stoned to death.
