1 Samuel 5

1. The Ark of God, under the Old Testament, carries the presence of God.
2. When the Philistines captured the Ark of god during their war with the Israelites, and brought it to Ashdod, they faced several afflictions.

• Dagon, the God of the Philistines, fell and broke into pieces before the Ark of God.
• The residents of Ashdod experience various diseases and illnesses.
• There was massive sudden destruction, and several people died, both old and young.

3. In the New Testament dispensation, every Christian represents the ark of God because you are the temple of God and you carry the spirit of God. And on this purpose, the anointing of touch is not upon every Christian.
