God the restorer

2 Kings 14

1. God is compassionate and merciful to his children despite their transgression.
2. The people of Israel suffered many afflictions because they forsook the commandments of God.
3. However, during the reign of Jeroboam, son of Joash, as King of Israel, the Lord helped him to restore some of the lost lands of Israel.
4. The Bible says the Lord saw the affliction of Israel, for it was very bitter.
5. May the Lord see your afflictions and send you help.
