1 Kings 14 vs. 9 –  But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

1. The Bible describes Jeroboam as the next evil king compared to the king who ruled before him – vs.9
2. He set up gods for Israel.
3. He made molten images for the Israelites to worship – vs.9
4. He provoked the anger of God through idolatrous practices
5. He turned his back on God
