Read 2 Samuel 3

1. Joah was a military commander of King David’s army. He was also a nephew of David.
2. He was known for murdering his potential rivals on of whom was Abner.
3. Abner was a former military commander to King Saul and assisted Ishbosheth to become King of Israel in opposition to David.
4. Out of distrusted envy, Joah secretly murdered Abner without David’s consent (vs.27)
5. David cursed the house of Joah for this evil act, that his descendants will have issues of blood, be leprous, have physical disabilities, and be poor.
6. May holy Spirit reverse any ancestral curse you may be labouring under, in Jesus’ name.
