The kind of faith that compels results must be powerful and capable of arresting the situation and its players. Erstwhile blind Bartimaeus released a powerful faith cry which arrested the attention of Jesus. There is a faith you can go with to the throne of grace and be ignored. There is another faith you can go with and your matter will be of utmost priority to God. After His attention was arrested, the Lord temporarily suspended His trip and shifted His gaze to one man- Bartimaeus. Applying the powerful master key of faith can make God to reorder His priorities in your favour. Do you know that even if your day of divine visitation were years ahead, through a display of aggressive powerful faith, it can suddenly emerge now? True faith according to Hebrews 11:1 talks of ‘Now’ not ‘later’ or ‘tomorrow’. The Lord will suspend everything else just to attend to your needs this year in Jesus name.  “And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee” (Mark 10:49). Another attribute of all conquering faith is its ability to transform. When you have the faith that has transformatory ingredients, it will definitely replace an old order with the new. It will also turn rebuke into words of comfort. In the above verse, the same people that rebuked Bartimaeus and called him a nuisance were the ones who told him to celebrate because his time of lifting had come. Your time of lifting has come. There is someone using this Devotional today, the same avenue Satan used in delivering the evil news that caused you so much sorrow is the avenue God will use to deliver a message of joy, hope and restoration. Remember to give God the glory when it comes to pass, and testify of it in the congregation of God’s people. This year, those who told you ‘No vacancy’ will be the ones to tell you ‘A vacancy exists for you.’ Those who said you can never make it as long as they are alive, will tell you while they have their breath nobody will ever hinder your progress. As your faith grows, let it have these glorious result -provoking ingredients. Every one and everything making mockery of your project, family, ministry or God will bow to you this year. |
