Eat the word of God

Ezekiel 2 verse 8

⁸ But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

Ezekiel 3 verse 3

³ And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

God said we should open our mouth and eat His words. What does it mean?

1. Study the word of God as many times as you eat physical food.
2. Make the word of God as breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
3. Enjoy reading the word of God the way you enjoy physical food.
4. Make the word of God your spiritual food.
5. Digest the word of God.
6. The way physical food nourishes your body, the word of God nourishes your spiritual body when you eat it.
7. The way you depend on food to sustain your life, the word of God will sustain your life.
8. Anytime you don’t study the word of God, you must be hungry and thirsty the way you feel when you don’t eat physical food and water.
