Read Ruth 4

1. In Ruth chapter 1, Naomi lists all. She lost her husband to the cold hand of death.
2. In Ruth chapter 1, Naomi, the mother-in-law of Ruth, lost all. She lost her husband, Elimelech and her two sons, Mahlon and Chilion, to the cold hands of death. Also, one of the daughters-in-law abandoned her.
3. However, in Ruth chapter 4, God has divinely restored the fortunes of both Ruth and her mother-in-law, Naomi.
4. Ruth became the wife of Boaz, a millionaire.
5. God gave Naomi a new grandson – Obed.
6. God caused people to celebrate with her.
7. God brought out a famous lineage from Ruth’s son. Obed became the father of Jesse, who was the father of David.
8. The genealogy of Jesus Christ through his earthly father, Joseph, was also from this lineage.
