| BREAKING GENERATIONAL CURSES |

What has subjected several families to undergo certain difficulties is a generational curse. It could be delayed marriage, childlessness, premature death, broken homes, a particular sickness, pegged academic height, stagnation, etc. When the wind of the Holy Spirit blows, it will make a way out of generational curses and afflictions. The children of Israel had the same problem when they left Egypt. The Egyptians that had enslaved them for over 400 years refused to leave them. As they pursued them, God allowed them to follow the Israelites to the middle of the sea and the sea swallowed them up. All those enemies chasing you from birth, from the lineage of your father and mother will be swallowed up today in the mighty name of Jesus.
The people of Jericho also suffered for several generations after Joshua placed a curse on the city. There was barrenness, miscarriage and other terrible problems they could not solve. Then they came to Elisha and sought his assistance. The wind of the Holy Spirit had just blown on Elisha, so he passed a single decree and that was the end of the generational problems. Every generational curse in your life that has resisted solution will come to an end today in Jesus name. Sometime ago, a lady came to us for prayers. She said at 33, she was still bed wetting. I told her all she needed was a new bladder. Before we prayed, she said that all her children, sisters, mother and grandmother bedwet. So I knew it was a family curse. On further interrogation, she said sometime ago her grandmother fought with someone who placed a curse on her that from that moment henceforth, all women in her generation will bed wet. I asked her to invite Jesus into her heart so as to belong to a new family according to 2 Corinthians 5:17. She did and we prayed a simple prayer. The following morning, she ran to me with excitement saying that for the first time in 33 years, she woke to meet the bed dry. She went and brought all her sisters who also gave their lives to Christ and as we prayed they stopped bed wetting. If God could do it in the lives of these ones, He will do it in yours. If you are not saved, give your life to Christ today and the wind of the Holy Spirit will blow and destroy every generational curse in your life. |
