| FLESHLY INTERFERENCE |

Memorise: “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). Read: Colossians 1:23-27 |
| When you are crucified with Christ and to the world, you will begin to understand God in a different way. God’s love will become more manifest in your life as you become more grounded in the spirit. As a result of this, you will access deep things of God. Many of us desire to be used as instruments for signs and wonders yet we shun the crucified life. God will not reveal His secrets to those in the flesh because they cannot please Him and they operate on a different frequency. In today’s reading, Apostle Paul was speaking from experience. He said there are deep mysteries of the Kingdom which God did not reveal to others but to him. He had great insight into heavenly affairs. He visited heaven several times and received certain revelations he was not allowed to talk about. Many of us covet his spiritual accomplishments but fail to look at the price he paid. He had to count all his earthly accomplishments as animal dung just to win Christ. He was crucified with Christ. That was not enough: he had to die daily. No sacrifice is too much to win Christ. How much you are prepared to pay determines how much of God you can have. How much are you ready to pay? One way you can subdue your flesh is through fasting. Before, during and after your fast, God remains God. Your fasting cannot change Him but it can silence your flesh and make you more receptive to the Holy Spirit. Many of us cannot hear God as He daily speaks to us because our flesh has deafened us. You have to put the flesh under your feet. It will amaze you that if we are asked to praise God for a period of 30 minutes in a congregation of 200 you can barely find 10 people who will do it correctly without mixing praise with request. Most people may say, Father I thank you for what you have done but do not forget the interview I will be attending tomorrow! That is the flesh interfering. But if you crucify the flesh through fasting, it will become very weak and your spirit will be able to freely communicate with God. The apostles were busy fighting for who will be the greatest and succeed Jesus before Christ’ death. But after they began to wait for the promise of the Father in Acts 1:4, 12-15, their mindset changed and all the fight, bitterness and quarrel stopped. They all had one desire: The promise of the Father. What is your desire today? |

Pray that they will become addicted to Jesus. |
