What is greedy gain?

Proverbs 1 vs 19

So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

1. Gain is the profit you derived from offering a service.
2. In every industry, there are always standards and acceptable measure of goods.
3. But when your gain become excessive and indefensible it becomes greedy gain.
4. So, if you change the measurement for a goods or service rendered, it is a greedy gain.
5. If you collect income for a service not rendered, you are guilty of greedy gain.
6. If you also employ staff and you underpay them or refuse to pay them their entitlement, you are guilty of greedy gain.
7. The Bible says gain gotten through manipulation leads to premature death.
8. Ill-gotten treasures are properties of Satan and makes you defenseless to satanic attack.
9. So, if you have Satan’s property in your possession, you will be open to evil attacks like sickness, accident, night oppression, which may take your life.
10. I always tell members of my household that by the grace of God, I can account for every income I made.
11. For instance, when I was building my house, it was uncompleted for several years, when I had the opportunity of making money for myself illegally from some works I was doing. For me, it was better to stay in an uncompleted house with peace and joy than to be in a completed house which foundation is from stolen money.
