Memorise: “These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season” (Psalms 104:27). Read: Psalms 104:13-16 |
Parents should never allow their children to idolize them. Husbands should point their wives to the Great Provider. After all, Psalm 104:27-30 says all creatures wait on God to receive their provision in due season. Psalms 104:28 says, “That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.” If God does not open His hand of provision to the man of the house, how may he take care of his family needs? God remains our only source. Another reason you should not trust in man, no matter the pressure, is because no body is truly dependable. Micah 7:5-7 says friends, parents and family members should not be trusted because they could be used as satanic tools against our progress. Is that not what obtains today? In many homes, family members are the ones hindering one another from making progress in life. Isaiah 49:15 says it is possible for a nursing mother to forget the child of her womb. A particular lady had trusted God for a husband for many years without success. Age was no more on her side. One day, she went with her mother to a man of God for prayer. Then the Lord revealed her mother was the cause. So the man of God privately asked her mother why she was hindering her daughter from marriage. When she realized her secret was uncovered, she confessed that she feared if her daughter marries, she will be neglected. Whether you believe it or not, so many mysterious calamities, bondages, and deaths emanate from fathers, mothers, children, brothers and sisters against one another, hence the only one we should trust without any iota of doubt is God. Even among believers, you cannot believe certain things that some allow their flesh to lure them into. Sarah suggested to Abraham that because it was taking too long for the promise to materialize, they should help God. She forced him to have Ishmael through her maid Hagar. The world has not known peace ever since. Whom do you make your number one and source? Let the Lord remain your source, provider and hope. When you make God your hope, no internal enemy can prevail against you. |

Command every string of manipulation from family members to be broken permanently. Command such fellows to bow at your feet. |
