| Memorise: “What? Know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? For two, saith he, shall be one flesh” (1 Cor 6:16)
Read: Matthew 19:3-6 |
| Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder” (Matt 19:6).
After you have located your God-given partner and have married, God expects you to commence another journey into oneness. Remember, your partner was taken out of you. Now, it is time to put her back although not as a rib, but as a finished product. You must discard and separate from anyone or anything that will stand in your way. Beside being separated from parents, wife-beating and husband-nagging must stop. These are marks of immaturity. To become one flesh, quite a lot of hardwork is required. It will also take some time. There are certain things you must do and some you must abstain from if you want to be one. Your greatest benefits from your wife will be delivered to you when you achieve oneness. Unfortunately, some couples have been married for 10, 20, 30 or more years without achieving oneness. This is why we must take God’s Word very seriously. What must you avoid if you want to arrive at oneness with your spouse? The first one is unfaithfulness. 1 Corinthians 6:16 says, “What? Know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? For two, saith he, shall be one flesh”. If you are in pursuit of oneness with your spouse, and one of you goes to have sex with another person, you will truncate your journey. Sexual intercourse is one way to be one with your partner. If you are unfaithful to your partner, you can forget oneness. You will become one with the partner in fornication! This means adding to the Heavenly equation – two becoming one flesh. You are three so you cannot be one! If you meet with a harlot, you will become one with that harlot. This is very dangerous. Any demon operating in her life will receive automatic licence to come into your life and do whatever he likes. This is one way fornicators have had to import curses, covenants, sicknesses and terrible problems from their sex partners. A fornicator can never be one with his wife. If you have been unfaithful to your spouse, hiding it will not prevent the repercussions from coming. Repent, restitute to your spouse and never return into that sin. |
| Father, uproot and destroy everything standing between married couples and oneness in the Body of Christ. |
