The God of Order

Read Exodus 40

1. We serve the god of order. God told Moses to arrange the items in the temple (table, candlesticks, lamps) according to the order he had shown him. – vs.3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
2. God also gave Moses a detailed description of how he should arrange other things inside the temple.
3. Another lesson learned from this passage is that ministerial ordination is by being anointed by a man of God.
4. God told Moses to anoint Aaron and his sons as the everlasting priesthood to God. vs– 15&16 ¹⁵ And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. ¹⁶ Thus did Moses: according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he.
5. If you are a servant of God, you need to carry out your assignment according to divine instruction.
6. The Bible says, Moses arranged the temple as the Lord had commanded. – vs.23  And he set the bread in order upon it before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
7. If you follow God’s instructions, his presence will fill you with glory.
8. The glory of God covered the tabernacle after Moses finished setting it up as God commanded. – vs.35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
