Matthew 18 vs 20

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

1. Jesus Christ gave a very simple definition of the Church.
2. Any gathering of two or more people calling the name of Jesus is a church.
3. This means the Church is where:

• Two people are gathered,
• They are discussing Jesus,
• They talk about Jesus through the Holy Bible, which is the word of God,
• They have absolute faith and trust in the name of Jesus,
• The name of Jesus Christ is the supreme authority in the gathering

4. It is not the building that makes the Church but the people and their faith in Christ.
