O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.
- Bible scholars have identified the Psalm as a book of praise.
- Yet, the Psalm is also a book of warfare, book persecution, and book of victory through the name of Jesus Christ.
- Praise appears about 132 times in the Psalm depending on the version you are reading.
- If David faced so many kinds of persecutions, afflictions, and warfare and he still talks about praises almost in every chapter of the Psalm. It means that the secret of his victory is praising the Lord.
