Warning against ill-gotten riches

Jeremiah 17 verse 11

¹¹ As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

1. Bribery and corruption are abomination before God
2. Stealing brings instant riches but leads to premature death
3. Greed and covetousness abort destiny
4. Anyone that becomes rich by foul means, through unearned income, by illegitimate sources, is a fool and will not live long to enjoy it.
