Leadership training
Daniel 1 verse 5
5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.
- King Nebuchadnezzar spent three years training the people he selected to become his assistants.
- He trained them in the philosophy, history, culture, religion, and language of the Chaldeans.
- Daniel was one of those trained.
- The lesson here is that leadership training takes time.
- Those aspiring to be a leader should be patient and have a teachable spirit.
- And those mentoring future leaders should patiently train them to maturity.
