Proverbs 2

1. Proverbs 2  emphasizes the need to receive obey the commandments of God which brings wisdom, understanding and knowledge.
2. The memory verse here is 6 which states: For the Lord giveth wisdom out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
3. The chapter also outlines the benefits of obeying the words of God:

1. Preservation from destruction – vs 11
2. The Lord will keep thee- vs 11
3. Deliverance from evil – vs 12
4. Deliverance from wickedness of the wicked – vs 12
5. Deliverance from the crooked – vs 15
6. Deliverance from broken marriage and relationships- vs 16
7. Destruction from evils of strange women – vs 18
8. Destruction from premature death -vs 22

My heart receive the word of God

My ear receive the word of God

My voice broadcast the word of God

Wisdom of God deliver me from destruction
