Numbers 18:21

And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

1. God instituted tithing in the Old Testament as a reward for Levites who are on full time service in the terbanacle.
2. Tithe is ten percent of the income of congregation.
3. The Levites are not only the Priests but all full time workers in the church.
