Genesis 31 vs. 19 – And Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that were her father’s.
- Rachel’s father was an idolater but her husband Jacob had the fear of God.
- Jacob had the responsibility of training her wife in the ways of God, but she failed to do so.
- The consequence was that his wife falls back into the idolatrous practices of her father’s house.
Prayers
- I shall make heaven with my wife/husband in Jesus name.
- I shall not lose my family to Satan in Jesus name.
